Description
This is a 1006 Navy Counter Stool, originally designed by Emeco in 1944 for the US Navy. These stools are built by hand from recycled aluminum in Hanover, Pennsylvania. Aluminum is an excellent material for seating as it is lightweight, yet extremely strong. All three stools are engraved with the Emeco logo on the back.
The listed price includes one stool and there are five available to purchase.
Each stool measures 19.5 inches deep, 16.5 inches wide, and 37 inches high, with a seat height of 17.5 inches. These pieces do show wear from previous use, including scuffs and surface blemishes throughout. Overall, the stools are in good condition. Please see photos.
