Description

Based on Marcel Breuer’s chest of drawers S41 (1924/27), Florian Borkenagen stacked six drawer elements for the chest of drawers S41-2 and gave each drawer element an individual handle. This contrast program is a parallel to the black and white alternation of the original Breuer chest of drawers. The chest of drawers with its clearly architectural appearance knows how to put itself in the limelight. Its perfect shape is brought into suspension by two side handles, like a hint that from now on chests of drawers should not rest fixed on the floor, but should be able to be moved easily on casters.
