Description
These are Eames DSR Chairs, originally designed by Ray and Charles Eames in 1951 for Herman Miller. These particular examples date to 1962. These chairs feature molded fiberglass shells in orange, and have Eiffel bases made of steel. DSR is an acronym for Dining Height Side Chair Rod Base. The listed price includes all four chairs to be sold together as a set.
Each chair measure 22 inches deep, 18.5 inches wide, and 31 inches tall with a seat height of 17.5 inches. These pieces all show similar amounts of wear, including some scrapes to the edges of their seats, and some scuffs on their bases. Overall, these chairs are in very good to excellent condition with light wear. Please see photos.
