Description

This is a Pair of Panel Back Armchairs, designed by Edward Wormley for Dunbar in ca. 1947. The listed price includes the pair of two chairs as shown. These chairs were produced in the United States, and the pair was most recently purchased from WYETH in 2004. Their design sports an ebonized mahogany frame, having an upholstered seat and back that features greige fabric. Brass nail heads adorn the bottom edge of the seats.

Each chair measures 22.5 inches deep, 22 inches wide, and 31 inches high. They have a seat height of 19 inches. There is some light wear apparent on the arms and legs, and there are several scratches on the backs. The fabric is in great shape. Overall, these chairs are in very good condition. Please see photos.
