Description
This is a pair of Scissor Lounge Chairs, model 1226, designed by Ward Bennett in 1968. The listed price includes the pair of chairs as shown. These examples have frames that are made of Solid Ash Wood, and they have light tan suede upholstery.
Bennett designed more than 150 chairs for Brickel from the 1960s through the 1980s. Mr. Bennett considered this design to be his most comfortable chair.
Each chair measures 30 inches long, 24 inches wide, and is 33 inches tall. They have a seat height of 15.5 inches. The frames are in terrific condition, having some small scuffs and scratches. The fabric is clean with perhaps a handful of small spots. Overall, these chairs are in good condition. Please see photos.
