The Tabouret Bois Stool bears an aesthetic based on structural requirements. The sturdy stool is available in natural oak, dark oak or American walnut.

Tabouret was designed by French designer, architect and engineer Jean Prouvé. Prouvé’s work encompasses a wide range of objects. The list includes a letter opener, door and window fittings, lighting and furniture, façade elements, prefabricated houses, modular building systems, large exhibition structures – essentially, almost anything that is suited to industrial production methods.
In close cooperation with the Prouvé family, Vitra began in 2002 to issue re-editions of designs by this great French constructeur.
