Description

This is a Wassily Lounge Chair, originally designed by Marcel Breuer in 1925. This example was produced in Italy in the 1970s by Gavina, which was later acquired by Knoll. This is a vintage example with welded end caps and high quality stainless. It was masterfully reupholstered in off-white / cream saddle leather by Wickett and Craig.

The chair measures 27 inches deep, 31 inches wide, and 28.75 inches high with a seat height of 16.5 inches. The chrome frame shows light wear consistent with age, including minor scuffs. The leather is in very good condition, with some natural creasing and light surface marks. Overall, the chair is in very good condition. Please see photos.
